There are no dogs too small for training with Sit Happens RVA. Matilda is a sweet and tiny chihuahua with a BIG personality. She was suffering from some separation anxiety, and just anxiety overall. With small dogs it can be hard to notice these behaviors. Matilda’s owner noticed she would pull and bark on the leash, get into things around the house, and cower away from people when they came into their home.
Weighing in at only 3 pounds, these problems would have been easy to ignore. However, Matilda’s owner wanted her to be able to relax in and outside of their home. Training was the answer they were looking for.
Sit Happens RVA taught Matilda’s owner how to communicate with her effectively. Matilda learned that her owner can take care of her, so she can relax when they have friends over and go on walks.
